Meet Leonor

Hello, I'm Leonor Tubb, and I am delighted to share my passion with you. I am a professional Sketch Illustrator Artist with a deep love for capturing the organic beauty of nature, especially trees.

My artistic journey began in the scenic city of Cape Town, where I earned my Fine Arts degree. Today, I am proud to call Pretoria my home. I am continually inspired by the "Jacaranda City," particularly when the streets explode in a breathtaking purple bloom—these magnificent trees are the constant muse for my work.

While I regularly exhibit my original illustrations in galleries throughout the year, my true joy comes from the art of the Fingerprint Tree.

Fingerprint Trees is more than a service; it is a passion project. It allows me to create a beautiful, hand-sketched piece of art that becomes a vibrant, living record of your special day. Seeing a blank paper transform into a colorful, leafy canopy—where each thumbprint represents a loved one—perfectly embodies the happiness, love, and unity that bring people together.

I specialise in creating unique and captivating fingerprint trees, sketched in Japanese black and white ink on a A2 page.

The interaction with the trees have become a hit at various events such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers, engagements, and reunions.

My dedication to detail and ability to capture the essence of nature in ink sketches make my fingerprint trees not only visually stunning but also fun and engaging for guests of all ages.

Whether it's a small intimate gathering or a large celebration, I ensure that each fingerprint tree becomes a cherished keepsake that can be displayed and admired for years to come.
